Certified Professional Pet Sitter education

Thankfully there is on going education provided through professional organizations such as Pet Sitters International.  Sharing information to loving pet parents to help provide greater understanding of how we can care for our "kids" is one of my great passions.  As a certified professional pet sitter I review domestic, exotic, health care, emergency care, security plans, business etiquette, communication skills and heightened awareness of the responsibilities of being a hired professional.

My vision for 2018 is to help coordinate educational opportunities.  Such as Dr. Marci Koski, the Feline Behaviorists offers to better understand our feline companions.  http://www.felinebehaviorsolutions.com/
Be sure to get on her mailing list for upcoming events.  Many of my clients are benefitting from her training and solutions for a purrfect life.

I look forward to hearing what areas you may wish to expand your knowledge.  2018 is full of pawsibilities.

May we continue to learn to be our best together.

Country Kids

June 29, 2015
Today was so much fun as Shakespeare, the gentle Great Pyrenees aka The Good Guy, Tabitha the Fainting goat....yes there is such a breed, Timmy the 34 year young mini-horse with the Cowboy, Mr. Bentley Carson Pizzi-Miller in the "saddle".  Each of them enjoy each other's company.  Shakespeare always comes to visit and Tabitha and Timmy welcome him and consider him one of their "herd".  Mr. Bentley is ever so excited to be on a high horse and perhaps take a roll in the pasture for the O-do-horsy.. then it's bath time.
It is such a pleasure to see the peace among the group enjoying a beautiful day together.

Shakespeare makes new friends along his walks too.

Che'

A year ago I adopted a sweet tabby who is now named Che'.  He is well known by all my neighbors and makes sure everyone gets home safe.  He also does his best to show off his athletic abilities with speed climbing up the trees. A year ago Che' tolerated a few hours inside and now after a year goes out for an hour or two.

One of the questions kitty parents face is whether to have an inside cat or outside or both.  I have talked with veterinarians who say it is a challenge to keep some cats inside all the time.  The advantages of doing have shown to increase a kitty's lifespan, reduces health risks & injuries.  To help a kitty adapt to being an indoor cat you can add tree like activity posts, climbing "shelves" plants and fresh litter boxes.  Cozy beds and blankets, kitty grass, play toys, tunnels, games, catnip and healthy food and fresh water all enhance the environment.  Most important is you.  As much as kitties love their independence they definitely like to know their "human" is within their realm of existence.  Che' has chosen to be at my side day and night these days and prior he tolerated a moment of sitting near any human.
It is so nice to see this fellow relax, purr and remain a healthy well balanced and loved kitty.
Keep on Purring!

There are so many reasons to be thankful each day.  Our furry friends remind us to look around and appreciate what we see, feel and experience.  I have always said if you don't know what to do with your day, get a dog.  They will tell you when to get up, when to go potty, when to eat, stretch, exercise, play, rest, eat, who to meet and who not to meet and so much more.  They are actively teaching us how to be a better person as we get to focus on their needs... yes they need us.
Take time to day to enjoy the love of a "friend".

The daily dog walks keep everyone healthy & smiling.

Care for Kitties, horses, bunnies and other pets are provided with love too.

Thank you for caring enough to plan your work day &vacations with Auntie Donna's Pet Nanny Services.

Keep on Wagging .....because you can.

Recommendation for Auntie Donna from Des H. Pet Parent of Leonardo DiPupprio
Leonardo DiPupprio and his girlfriend Jazzy love the mountain views. Then time with his other friends to relax.

Leo gets some social time and everyone has a good time.

I would like to take a moment to thank the most amazing woman in the world for all that she has done for me and my sweet pooch. I currently work as a nurse at a local hospital on 12 hour shifts. I have a new puppy and had no idea when I moved into my new place how I was going to manage. Then one bright sunny day as I was checking out my new neighborhood I came upon a car that said "Auntie Donna's Pet Sitting Service" and like any good stalker I followed her to her next clients home where I was able to introduce myself. My prayers had been answered.
She is the most wonderful, trustworthy and reliable person I could have ever hoped would come into my life and help me out with my pooch. I routinely have Donna come over to take my dog out for the day. Every day my dog goes with Donna he comes home tired and ready to relax. This is perfect as I am ready to relax myself after a long day. She has also helped me out when I went to Hawaii for a week. She sends daily photos and we share a journal of information about the day's activities and any other additional log information we have questions about. I trust Donna and I know she takes care of my dog as if he were her own.  She is easy to work with, accommodates all my crazy schedule changes. She is the best and I would recommend anyone to use Donna for pet sitting. You would never regret it.
